Should I shower/bathe before or after my massage?A good way to prepare for a massage is by taking a shower beforehand. This helps remove any dirt or grime from your body that could cause irritation during the massage. It also helps relax your muscles so they are ready for the massage. After a massage, you may want to relax by soaking in a hot bathtub. This helps ease muscle soreness and promotes healing. However, if you don't have access to a tub try taking a warm shower instead.
